Here Are some tips to get you started

Earlier on, we rolled out a blog that mostly talked about Tips on how to choose the right Sacco for you. This time, though, we’ve leveled up, and are going to list the Best Saccos in Kenya to help you in the choosing process.

Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) have become more and more popular as the years go by with their mode of operations standing out from banks which were/still are the institutions well known in terms of saving. How they work is that; –

You sign up and become a member and start saving in line with how much you want to access after a set period time. This will determine how much you will be saving monthly. After reaching your set target, the Sacco then gives you a loan up to 5times the amount you’ve saved so as to set yourself up in terms of your business, pay some debts, take a holiday and so forth.

Sounds like a solid deal, right? Well, with the rate at which the Credit organizations are growing, I’d say many people have come to start preferring them. Unfortunately, Cooperatives have had some image issues in the recent past due to some individuals taking advantage of the great foundations that they stand for but, all in all, they have emerged stronger than ever by granting members efficient services.  Thus, on this blog, we at Mombo have compiled some of the best and most renowned Saccos in Kenya which have been licensed and credited as legitimate.
