One of the leading digital Savings and Co-operative society (Sacco) in the country has organized an award fete for its members christened Annual Top Savers Awards.

Kenya’s leading digital Savings and Credit Co-operative Mombo SACCO has finally unveiled surprise Christmas gift packages it will be giving top savers as the year 2020 comes to a close.

As separately reported by tuko.co.ke, management of Mombo SACCO had invited its members and the public to help them decide on the best way to award members who have been breaking saving records since January 2020.

According to the board of directors, they saw it wise to surprise such members who have been saving in heaps and religiously despite the tough unprecedented economic times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that discourage the saving culture. After considering all the suggestions sent by you, management settled on gifting top savers fully sponsored holiday experiences to some of Kenya’s exclusive vacation destinations.

What is more, is that some of the offers give the winners a chance to sample the destination with their spouses or best friends as they are “for two”. The destinations include Mombasa, Naivasha and the globally recognized Maasai Mara. The winners will be recognized during the Mombo SACCO Top Annual Savers Awards 2020 which is set to be convened soon.

Who are the top savers?

The top savers are members of Mombo Sacco who have saved the highest in their respective saving plans monthly. There are four saving plans to choose from and each has unique advantages. They include Bronze, Platinum, Gold and Silver. 

Naivasha holiday gateway for 2 – Members who will scoop the Naivasha package will enjoy accommodation for three days and two nights full board, and fully paid park fees in Nakuru. Resorts or hotels of choice include Naivasha Enashipai and Lake Naivasha Resort among others.

Mombasa holiday getaway for 2 – This package includes an offer of four days and three night for two. The destination of choice includes Sarova Whitesands, Voyager Beach Hotel, Prideinn Paradise, Flamingo Beach Hotel and Baobab Hotel.
